Falcons
Following Falcons, Frame by Frame
We were hired by Team Falcons to document the journey of their CS team. From planning and storyboarding to interviews, filming, and editing, we handled every part of production. The goal was to create a raw and honest documentary series, giving fans a real look inside the team’s highs, lows, and everything in between.
For the duration of a couple of months, we followed the team closely at bootcamps and tournaments, across Europe, as they the teams foundation was still being laid. Giving a deeper insight into the process of establishing new teams than seen elsewhere in the space.
Fans got to watch the teams performance model being laid out and implemented in to the team mindset, with the players being treated like "normal" atlethes by their veteran staff, rather than just gamers.
All in lead up to the major tournament in Copenhagen, Denmark later the same year. A tournament so crucial to the Counter-Strike eco-system that it is the sole focus of all teams.
Team Falcons had a clear goal in mind, and fans and critics alike got to watch every detail and decision leading to the tournament.
Capturing Counter-Strike Without a Filter
In a world of competition and dedicated fans, Team Falcons took a risk not just in joining a new game title, but also immediately bringing in champion players & staff, to aim for trophies.
Team Falcons position as a serious contender was enhanced by the lack of filter in the documentary showing both light-hearted fun, as well as real arguments about performance and individual decisions in a unpolished manner.
The rawness was both complimented and berrated by the community, with a split between acknowledgement of the heat of competition and the human aspect.

Results
The resulting three-part documentary launched on Team Falcons’ YouTube channel, launching the brand to an english-speaking fandom. Its rawness sparked major discussion across the Counter-Strike community among both fans and experts.
